The ensemble MünchenKlang, consisting of choir and orchestra, is playing a programme with music from video games, including the concert premiere of one title. HippoScore develops the concert programme and obtains the scores.
01st February 2024: Munich Radio Orchestra – Game On Symphony
Under the baton of Eimear Noone and with involvement of several content creators, the orchestra presents a concert programme full of blockbuster video game music titles. The concert is also livestreamed via Twitch. HippoScore provides scores for several titles in the programme.

28th and 29th January 2024: Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra – Game Music in Concert
This second edition of “Game Music in Concert” also marks the second collaboration of the orchestra and HippoScore. This time, the orchestra, together with the opera choir of Staatstheater Augsburg, presents an exciting programm with video game music, which can also be watched online via livestream. Several video game composers are present during the concert, the programme also contains several concert premieres of video game music. HippoScore is a co-producer to the production, co-develops the concert programme and provides the scores. The performance on 29th is a concert for school classes only.
14th and 23rd October 2023: ORSOPhilharmonic – High Score
The ORSOPhilharmonic choir and orchestra are presenting a colourful programme of video game music. The concerts take place in Freiburg and at the Berliner Philharmonie. HippoScore contributes support with the programme selection and obtains scores.
25th June 2023: Saarländisches Staatsorchester – Showcase Games
This concert presents both video game music and classical repertoire that is in some way related to video games. The programme also contains several concert premieres of video game music titles. During the concert, which is also livestreamed, there are on-stage talks with the game composers from Audinity and the game developers from Digitales Interactive, a local game studio, whose soundtrack is also featured in this programme. HippoScore is a consultant to the production, supporting the programme development, obtaining the scores and coordinating the creation of the arrangement for the Lacuna soundtrack.

20th November 2020: WDR Funkhaus Orchestra – Gaming Sounds
The WDR Funkhaus Orchestra performs a video game concert at the Funkhaus in Cologne. HippoScore develops the concert programme compliant with the current Coronavirus restrictions, provides the scores and parts and coordinates the creation of custom music arrangements.
June 2019: The Bremen State Youth Orchestra plus choir performs a gala concert with video game music as part of the German Game Music Awards. HippoScore provided orchestral material and assists with the programme selection.
December 2018: For the opening event of a big event series at the Haus des Spiels (House of Gaming) Nuremberg, Germany, HippoScore designs the musical programme – a concert with video game music arranged for solo piano.
May 2017: At a big community event of the game studio and publisher Paradox Interactive in Stockholm, Rosa Kvartetten and Max Wulfson perform a concert with music from the company’s game portfolio, which I had arranged particularly for this event for string quintet.
